The dance of the dragons, tis a beautiful thing
They movie like clockwork, you can see the cogs spinning
The intricate moves and crisp steps
The mesmerising work of the devils pets
The short little twirls, the intricate footwork
You cannot imagine that hell is where these creatures lurk
You look into the beasts eyes
And then, abruptly, you get surprised
You wonder how such a thing of beauty

She sleeps in a cardboard box at night, while we sleep on a soft cloud-like bed
She smiles not because she is happy, but because she still has hope
She has arguments with herself because she doesn’t have anyone left in her life
She sits on the curb of the street,
Waiting for a kind-hearted soul to come by
And give her shelter
She will not eat food given to her for free, due to her pride, or whatever scraps are le...

What is freedom, but the liberty to speak your heart out
To run through the grass unafraid and carefree
Being able to do whatever you want to
For the whole world to be yours to see
What is freedom, but having no boundaries
To not be held in captivity
To be an eagle without a cage
To fly till you reach the place
Where the horizons meet the sea
What is freedom, but feeling the warm summer breeze
Wh...

Oh great house of mine
I have never said thank you at all
So thank you for letting me prosper within your walls
Thank you for holding me in your arms
And thank you for letting me sleep in your palms
Thank you for keeping me warm when it’s cold
And thank you for watching over me while I grew old.

I once saw a deer, on a hot summers evening,
Galloping, dancing and prancing,
Just doing what deer do…
The suns light shone upon the beautiful creature’s body
And it was perfectly magical
But then, a man in a sandy uniform slowly tread…
And in the glare he had in his emerald green eyes
It seemed as though he wanted to finish something once and for all
I knew what terrible thoughts passed through his mind…
I sho...

What is love?

Love is:
A little smile,
A word of cheer,
A bit of care from someone near.
A little gift from the ones held dear
It doesn’t matter if you were to give a shout from a garden
Or even Australia
They would still be able to hear
Giving love is just like trading
Giving some to people and then getting
Giving little hints in everyday things
When people say:
“Oh yes! it’s your birthday!”
With a little spring

The rain turns into snow
And cold winds start to blow
Instead of wearing sandals
You start to light up candles
The trees that used to host the birds that did tweet
Are now left freezing and lonely as they retreat
The grass that always used to be green
Now starts to shiver under the s...

The doors are creaky
The floorboards are squeaky
The bats are flapping their wings
The willow outside
Is shouting in its loudest voice
Please help this poor soul
The wind blows in cold
And the writing is bol...
